In 2020, he was a co-recipient of The Daily Journal's "California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year" award. He was also recognized as one of the Consumer Attorney of California's 2021 "Street Fighter of the Year." Additionally, in 2021 and 2022 he was selected by the Daily Journal as one of the "Top Labor & Employment Lawyers" and in 2019 he was one of five finalists for CAALA's "Appellate Attorney of the Year" award. He has exclusively practiced appellate law since 2014, handling a wide range of civil appeals including employment, business litigation, personal injury, entertainment, defamation, child molestation, class actions, trusts and estates, arbitration, government immunity, and land use, in both state and federal court. Prior to focusing on appellate law, SCOTT TILLETT’s practice included class action litigation involving wage and hour, product liability, and consumer fraud issues, in addition to individual employment, personal injury, and product liability litigation at both the state and federal level.
