Moreover, in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, he had the special honor of being recognized as one of only a few appellate lawyers in Super Lawyers “Top 100 Attorneys” in Southern California. In 2009, he was honored by The Daily Journal as one of California’s top 10 plaintiffs’ employment lawyers. In 2021, he was a co-recipient of The Daily Journal's California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year award. SCOTT TILLETT, a Certified Appellate Law Specialist, State Bar of California, has been named to the Southern California Super Lawyers list in 2023 (he was previously selected as a Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Star consecutively since 2016). In 2021, he was a co-recipient of The Daily Journal's "California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year" award. He was also recognized as one of the Consumer Attorney of California's 2021 "Street Fighter of the Year." Additionally, he was selected by the Daily Journal as one of the "Top Labor & Employment Lawyers" consecutively from 2021 through 2023 and in 2019 he was one of five finalists for CAALA's "Appellate Attorney of the Year" award. He has exclusively practiced appellate law since 2014, handling a wide range of civil appeals including employment, business litigation, personal injury, entertainment, defamation, child molestation, class actions, trusts and estates, arbitration, government immunity, and land use, in both state and federal court. Prior to focusing on appellate law, SCOTT TILLETT’s practice included class action litigation involving wage and hour, product liability, and consumer fraud issues, in addition to individual employment, personal injury, and product liability litigation at both the state and federal level.
