Christian Schlachte is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Pine Tillett Pine LLP. As a member of the firm, he assists in various appeals, with a focus on plaintiff-side employment matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schlachte was an Assistant District Attorney for the City of Philadelphia. He most recently served in the Appellate Unit, where he litigated numerous appeals, ranging from the defense of first-degree murder convictions, to post-conviction, and Fourth Amendment issues. Prior to that, he was a member of the Juvenile Unit, where he prosecuted both felony and misdemeanor bench trials.
Mr. Schlachte received his Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law in 2019. During law school, he served as a board member for the Moot Court Honors Society and as the Chief of Articles for the Criminal Justice Law Review. He additionally worked as a research assistant to Professor Beth Colgan.
Mr. Schlachte received both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Political Science from Boston University. He then worked as a political consultant at the state and national levels prior to attending law school.
