Chaya Citrin joined Pine Tillett Pine LLP as an associate in 2017. She previously served as a staff law clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. As a staff law clerk, from 2013 to 2015, Ms. Citrin prepared bench memoranda and drafted judicial decisions on a wide range of issues including civil rights and employment discrimination. Ms. Citrin then participated in the Attorney General’s Honors Program, from 2015 to 2017, as an attorney advisor at the United States Department of Justice’s Executive Office for Immigration Review.

Ms. Citrin graduated summa cum laude in 2010 from Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women and received her Juris Doctor degree in 2013 from UCLA School of Law. As a law student, Ms. Citrin served as an extern to the Honorable Paul L. Abrams of the United States District Court for the Central District of California, as an associate editor of the Journal of Environmental Law and Policy, and as a Writing Advisor to first-year law students in their Lawyering Skills course. In addition, Ms. Citrin co chaired the Disability Law Society, served on the board of the Mobile Clinic Project, and participated in the Veterans Clinic at UCLA.

Ms. Citrin is admitted to practice in California, Illinois, and the Seventh Circuit.
